2011 Tillamook County Rodeo Queen Callie Prince

A rodeo queen once told Callie Prince that one day she would be the Tillamook County Rodeo Queen. Since that day, Callie has worked to achieve her dream, and now she gets to live it as the 2011 Tillamook County Rodeo Queen.
Callie is the 21 year old daughter of George and Lois Prince of Tillamook, where her dad owns and operates a dairy farm. Other family members include a brother Michael, his wife Holly, sister Casey, her husband Rick, and nieces and nephew Kylie, Maddie and Blake and numerous
cousins.

GEO FARMS is the second dairy in Tillamook to install a carousel milking parlor, and the cows love it all 600 of them. Callie is the head calf feeder at GEO FARMS this puts her in charge of caring for 71+ calves on a daily basis. The calves know the sound of her truck and let her know when it’s feeding time.
Callie graduated from Tillamook High School in 2008 and is now attending Tillamook Bay Community College pursing a transfer degree in Agri Business animal nutrition at OSU. In high school Callie was active in the 4-H horse project and FFA dairy judging. In 2007 she earned a silver medal at the FFA National Convention. She earned her State FFA degree in 2008 and her American FFA Degree in 2009. For 4 years, she was a rodeo flag girl for Tillamook Rodeo.
2011 will be very busy for Callie. She will be traveling around the states of Oregon and Washington, participating in parades and rodeos, and various other events representing Tillamook Rodeo. Her equine partners in this adventure are, “Jackie”, a 12 year old Kiger Mustang mare, and “Miss”, a 6 year old paint mare.
Callie would like to invite you to the 25th annual, Tillamook County Rodeo always the 4th weekend in June. . Don’t forget the June Dairy Parade on Saturday before the rodeo. Hope to see you June 25th and 26th, 2011, at the
“Biggest Little Show on the Coast”.
