2010 Tillamook County Rodeo Queen Kaitlyn Dolan

Kaitlyn Dolan of Tillamook, Oregon has been selected as the 2010 Tillamook County Rodeo Queen. Kaitlyn Dolan, is the 18 year old daughter of Timothy Dolan and Greg and Laura Fisk. She born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon along with her younger siblings, Shannon and Will. Kaitlyn is 2008 graduate of Ocean Breeze Baptist School in Tillamook and she is currently a sophomore at Corban College, in Salem, majoring in Health Science. She plans to go on to the OSU Veterinary School from there. After graduation from Vet school, Kaitlyn's goal is to travel to Uganda as part of the Christian Veterinary Mission.

Kaitlyn’s love of horses and rodeo started at a young age. She got involved in 4-H at the age of 9 and continued through high school. Her Grandpa was a director for the St. Paul Rodeo for many years, and her stepdad, Greg Fisk, is a Tillamook County Rodeo Director, so Kaitlyn grew up around rodeo. Because of her love of rodeo, she knew that she wanted to be more involved with it. She decided that being a rodeo queen would be the way to participate and keep the rodeo lifestyle close to her heart. Kaitlyn tried out for Miss TCRA for 2009, and was unsuccessful, but this didn’t stop her from coming back the next year to try again, to fulfill a dream. This time it was her turn to wear the crown, she earned the title of “Miss Tillamook County Rodeo” for 2010”.

Kaitlyn now looks forward to the year ahead, traveling to rodeos, parades and other events around the beautiful Pacific Northwest, meeting people and making new friends while representing her home town and the most exciting sport on dirt. She is excited for the year ahead because it will be busy and fun while making memories that she will treasure for a lifetime. Her equine traveling partner is “Cheyenne”, a 10 year old paint mare.

So come along with Kaitlyn, to experience a wild and exciting moment in time, when the “Biggest Little Show on the Coast” rolls into Tillamook, Oregon always the fourth weekend in June.
